Daily Rates
- One cat - £12
- Two cats (sharing a pen)* - £16
- Three cats (sharing a pen)* - £20
*Sharing a pen is only available to compatible cats from the same household.
Rates are charged on a daily basis or part thereof, including the day of arrival and departure, and include all food (except prescription diets), litter, chalet heating, and veterinary insurance. In the event of the owners returning before the end of the period for which the cat is booked, the full period will be charged for. For boarding periods of 28 days or more, 50% of the overall fee may be required at the time of booking. Boarding for eight weeks or longer will require interim payments.
There is always a three-day minimum charge for our services, with the exception of the Christmas and New Year period when the minimum charge is for five days. Please note that when making your booking, you must consider your own travel times in respect of the number of days required for boarding your cat.
Potential Additional Charges
Full veterinary insurance is included at the cattery, covering any problems developing with a cat while being boarded. Little Glen Cattery will not be responsible for any veterinary fees incurred while boarding for a cat that has entered the cattery with an ongoing or reoccurring medical condition, and treatment fees for this will be charged to the owner.
Sharing of pens is only available to compatible cats who normally live together. Any veterinary treatment that is needed due to fighting between cats that share a pen will be charged to the owner.
Transporting Your Cat to Little Glen Cattery
For safety reasons, and to limit any stress to cats while being transported, all cats must be placed in a strong and suitably-sized pet travel carrier. For your convenience, a collection and delivery service is available to customers within a 15-mile radius of our location. It is charged at 75p per mile and there is a minimum charge of £5.
Our Opening Times
• Monday – Friday, 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
o The last pick-up time is 6:00 p.m. Other times are available between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. strictly by appointment only.
• Saturday, Sunday, 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m.
o Other times are available between 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. by appointment only, but we are closed in the afternoon.
Although we will be here to look after your cats, the cattery will be closed to visitors for viewings, arrivals, and departures on bank holidays, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day, and Easter Day.
